Tesla’nın fenomen CEO’su Elon Musk, küçülme kararı alarak birçok çalışanını işten çıkarmıştı. Ancak görünen o ki çalışanların CV’sinde bulunan Tesla geçmişi, önemli şirketlerin de dikkatini çekiyor. Punks & Pinstripes’a göre Apple, Amazon ve Google gibi büyük teknoloji şirketleri işten çıkarılmış bu isimleri hemen kaptılar.
Tesla’nın üzerinde güneş panelleri ve SpaceX Starlink internet uydu bulunan römorku katılımcılarda büyük merak uyandırdı.
Rapora göre işten çıkarılan 457 Tesla çalışanının 56’sı Rivian, 51 kişi Apple, ve diğer 51’i Amazon’a geçiş yaptı. Meta, Google, Lucid Motor gibi dev şirketlerde işe alımlar gerçekleştirdi. Tesla çalışanlarının bu kadar popüler olmasının arkasında Elon Musk’ın işçi kriteri yer alıyor. Öyle ki Musk, birinci elden deneyime ve uygulamalı test deneyimine sahip kişileri, CV’lere bakmaksızın kabul ediyor.
Tesla işten çıkarma süreci, şirketin ünlü CEO’su Elon Musk’ın geçtiğimiz ay üst düzey yöneticilerine ekonomi hakkındaki düşüncelerini belirten bir e-posta göndermesiyle başladı. Musk, ekonomi hakkındaki düşüncelerini “süper kötü bir his” olarak değerlendirirken şirketin yüzde 10’unu çıkaracağını konuşulmaya başladı.
Devam eden süreçte birçok işten çıkarılma durumu gerçekleşti. Öte yandan şirket, bu konudaki hızlı tutumuyla da davalık olmuştu. Tesla, Nevada’daki Gigafactory’deki iki eski çalışanı tarafından toplu işten çıkarmalarda prosedüre uyulmadığı gerekçesiyle dava edilmişti.
